This product is designed for box gutter protection. A box gutter is a flat-bottomed gutter set into the roof structure, typically running between two roof sections or behind a parapet wall. The mesh sits over the top of the box gutter, forming a continuous barrier across the opening.

Designed for flat-surface roofs, including slate and shingle. The profile bonds directly to the roof surface using Sikaflex FC-11 adhesive, making it a flexible option for heritage homes and other roofs where lifting tiles isn't practical.

The 2mm aperture (hole size) of the mesh blocks leaves of all sizes, from large palm fronds and bamboo down to fine wattle, jacaranda and poinciana leaves. Best suited for properties with fine-leafed trees or where you want the highest level of leaf protection.

Is your home in a bushfire area?

This is a screw-free kit, made for homes outside bushfire (BAL) zones. The mesh itself is non-combustible, but the adhesives and clips that hold it in place are not, so it is not compliant for BAL-rated areas under AS3959:2018. This kit uses screw-free flat profiles to secure the mesh on both sides of the box gutter. The profiles bond to the roof surface using Sikaflex FC-11 adhesive (not included in kit).
