Two ways to protect your gutters
Every roof is different, and we believe the way you install your gutter mesh should suit your situation. That's why we offer two distinct fixing methods. Both are designed and tested for Australian conditions.
Screw-down: how it works

Our screw-down method uses a complete system of custom-engineered components, and we've spent years making sure every part works together.
At the heart of it is our pilot tip screw, a fastener we designed specifically for gutter mesh. Most roof sheets are under 0.5mm thick, which means standard screws struggle to hold. Our pilot tip creates a tiny initial hole, then uses a tapered shaft that gradually widens as it drives in. This creates dual retention: thread engagement plus a mechanical wedging action that keeps the screw locked in place, even through years of thermal expansion and contraction.
Combined with colour-matched profiles and gutter trims (including our Screw-Down Multi-Lock Trim for added strength), the screw-down system delivers a secure, long-lasting installation on corrugated, tile and most metal roof types.
Screw-free: how it works

Our screw-free system is a complete over-the-roof method that bonds the mesh to your roof and clips it to your gutter, with no holes drilled in either. It took significant development to get here, but the result is a range that covers corrugated metal roofs, slate, shingles, polycarbonate and complex pan roof profiles, all without a single screw into your roof or gutters.
On the gutter side, our Screw-Free Multi-Lock Trim uses UV-resistant nylon clips that snap onto the rolled edge of your gutter at 250mm intervals. The mesh is sandwiched between the clips and a locking trim that ratchets into place. No drilling and no holes, and it can be unclipped later for access if it's ever needed.
On the roof side, we use a dual-fixing system: 3M VHB tape (one of the strongest double-sided tapes available) provides immediate hold, while Sikaflex liquid adhesive flows through the profile and bonds permanently. Full cure strength is reached in three to five days.
A note for bushfire-prone areas: the screw-free range is not for use in BAL (Bushfire Attack Level) zones. If your property has a BAL rating, our screw-down steel range is the compliant choice.Learn more about bushfire and ember protection.
Or mix and match methods to suit your property
The roof side and the gutter side are independent. Every component in our range is designed to work together, so you can combine screw-down and screw-free fittings to suit your property. Here's what each combination looks like.
