BORN OUT OF FIRE

Transforming the way Australians protect their homes

The right gutter mesh keeps your gutters clear, your home protected, and your mind at ease. Since 1992, we've been engineering gutter protection that stands up to everything Australian conditions can throw at it, from ember attack to heavy storms. We're here to help you find the right mesh for your roof.

Gutters are your first line of defence

Your gutters do more than carry rainwater. They can be one of the most vulnerable points on any building. The right gutter mesh keeps leaves, debris, pests, and embers out, reducing the risk of water damage, pest intrusion, and the effects of ember attack.

Why gutter mesh matters

Image for Leaf and debris protection

Leaf and debris protection

Leaves, twigs, and dirt build up in unprotected gutters faster than most people expect. That debris traps moisture, which can corrode the gutter material and lead to early replacement. When gutters block, water has nowhere to go. It overflows into roof cavities, behind fascia boards, and down internal walls. Gutter mesh keeps debris out, water flowing, and your gutters lasting longer.

Pest and vermin protection

Unprotected gutters are an open invitation for pests. Possums nest in roof cavities, birds block downpipes with nesting material, and rats and mice use gutters as an entry point into your home. Once they're in, they're hard to get out, and the damage they cause to insulation, wiring, and ceilings can be costly. Gutter mesh acts as a physical barrier, keeping animals out of your gutters and away from your roof space.

Bushfire and ember guarding

Not all gutter guards are ember guards, and the difference matters. A gutter guard keeps leaves and debris out. An ember guard goes further: with an aperture (hole size) of 2mm or smaller, it also prevents burning embers from entering your gutters and roof cavity. Our 2mm steel mesh is ember guard compliant for all BALs under AS3959:2018. Our 2mm aluminium mesh is compliant for BAL 12.5, 19, and 29.
